Unless otherwise stated, the copyright in each article belongs to its author. By publishing with We Were Here, authors grant us a non-exclusive license to publish, archive and promote their work in any format. 

After a three-month period from the original publishing date, authors are free to republish their own work elsewhere. We ask that they credit We Were Here as the original publisher with a link to the original page.  

Republishing

If you would like to republish our work, we ask that you please contact us first at editors@wewereheremag.co.uk to discuss the details. We will also seek permission from the author before going ahead. 

Use of Generative AI 

We do not permit the use of generative AI at We Were Here unless it is disclosed and appropriate for the theme/content of the article. All of our articles reflect the views and work of the authors credited.
